Sunshine Tea

At this time of year, you may be spending more time indoors. Daylight hours are shortening as we approach the lowest light of the year. But you can bring the sunshine inside with this beautiful immune boosting tea!

As promised, here is the recipe:

Sunshine Tea

  • 1 L boiling water
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed and exposed to air for 1 min (enhances medicinal properties)
  • 1″ piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp raw honey (or to taste)
  • Pinch of cayenne (optional)

Pour boiling water over the ingredients and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Sunshine tea is warming, nutrient-rich, and also has anti-microbial, antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. It supports healthy immunity and digestion.
